Quick Message for those walking in the shadows..

Look within yourself to obtain a peace of mind and stability. There's much more to life than money, cars, clothes, and women. None of the above define me. How bout you? Can you be your own man/woman if you try to get by like everybody else? You can't stand out if you try to fit in.

With that being said, Welcome to the BlogSpot of Ramone "Magnifagrest" Frost

Kinda reminds me of myself in a sense...the missing Link

In my mind at most I'm just an ordinary person wandering throughout the world till I realize that I was meant for much more. I evolve to be this higher being in the face of evil and doubt.

When all else fails, people rely on me in some form or another. I bring purity and stability to the tainted mind. My primary weapons are my thoughts and my state of mind. I use it to my full advantage to help them overcome their problems about life as I try to make sense of this troubled world in my own way.

The enemies I fight through my journey are all u naysayers, non-believers, bullshitters, and even the doubts and insecurities of my own mind. Nevertheless I shall overcome..it's destiny.

Idk if y'all remember, but in the Nintendo 64 installment of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Link used the Ocarina to warp to different places in Hyrule. My Ocarina is Hip-Hop. Every time I play my music it takes me to a place far away from the world, where I originally came from...a place of peace.

All pieces of the Triforce are within me: Wisdom, Courage, and Power. Can't have one without the other.

Link often uses a fairy to heal all his wounds, to bring him back from certain death, or to gives him hints throughout the game. But my fairy is my conscience. Or good voice...Whatever u wanna call it. She reminds me to keep a level head throughout the Game of Life.

The Hero of Time was always reincarnated through somebody whenever Hyrule (The World) was in peril. With that said, I know for a fact that I've been here before.

Enough said..play the game. Don't play me. If you try, I will be forced to smite your ass.

Omarioff!!

I made this video in my younger years while strolling through Gary, IN. I saw a guy dancing at the corner of Ridge Rd. & Broadway in front of a Currency Exchange. I sat back and said to myself, "Damn he kinda look like...CAMERA TIME!!!"

A must share story (By Jay-D)

So I woke up at around 6am and logged onto facebook and on there I see 1 lonely inbox message. I proceeded to click on it and saw that it was from my good man Jay-D who sent this message a few hours before (2:46 am to be exact). It was titled "A must share story", Thus giving the title for this entry (it's only right). And it goes:

So I'm riding home from Famo's crib at approximately 1:05am this morning, going west on Bradley. There is no one on the streets when I come to the corner of Bradley and Neal; waiting to make a right a the red light.

Directly across the intersection from me in the oncoming traffic lane, I notice a group of white people in two cars parked at the green light, exchanging obscenities; three white boys in a Red 1990s GMC pick-up and two white chicks and two white guys in a green Sunfire.

As I become more engaged in the interaction, I proceed to roll my window completely down, as well as turn my music down to hear better.

As soon as I look back at the altercations, a white boy is getting out of the pick-up and rapidly approaching the sunfire; a gentle from the sunfire gets out, and so does a chick.

The two gentlemen getter closer to each other when the gentleman from the pick-up steals the shit out of homey from the sunfire- he looked like Darlenes Boyfriend from Roseanne, only with blonde hair. The chick tries to break it up but the lad from the pick-up proceeds to really get in blonde hair guys ass.

A guy hops out the sunfire, along with another chick to try to save their pal, so do the rest of the homeys from the pick-up; but before anyone could get to the two goons, the first homey from the pick-up slams homey to the ground and kicks his ass all the way to the curb.

This is going on for about 5 mins, as another vehicle pulls behind this brawl thats taking place and I'm laughing my ass off at what is now a green light for me.

Somehow the fight ends and all parties try to get back to their respective vehicles (As I give a loud Nelson "Ha Ha" and point at them), and one of the chicks from the sunfire decides to talk a little more shit saying, "Get a Real Pick-Up Truck Bitch!" and proceeds to slam the driver of the Pick-up's foot in his door.

He replied cleaverly with "This is a real pick-up truck!" Drops the clutch and peals the phuck out out at the light, and hits the hardest right turn I've ever seen in Champaign county, going south on Neal. I again begin to laugh very loudly and point as the defeated passengers of the sunfire drive past me.

I finally got a chance to make my long awaited right turn on Neal steet and went home in laughter just as my phone died as I was attempting to share my tale with Famo.

I felt as though I needed to reward myself for what I just experienced, so I made this:

My Niggaz/ Brothers I never had

It's been a min gang.

My birthday was pretty nice even though I kicked it late and all the guys weren't there. We went to King Coopa crib, drank Bacardi and Coke, had some heart felt convo, and elaborated on it. Me, B-Mo, and Coop were the last men standing that night. We had engaged in talking about what's been going on since the last time I seen em. Coop growing up fast..engaged & shit. He was the last person I thought would do it but he put all of the bullshit and hoes on pause.

(*Coop:I'm proud of you man. I never thought I'd see the day you'll be ready for that. AND u were the first nigga to call me on my birthday; 12:44am to be exact. I really wasn't expecting that. And that's the reason I appreciate it more*)

B-Mo found him a girl he really likes but still isn't ready for a relationship.

(*B-Mo: my superfly flashy brother..take your time, but don't take too long..time waits for no man. Or woman for that matter*)

Lo is my nigga till the death. He always makes me smile and guarantees me a good time. Hell he even got him a girl! I just hope he sticks this one out.

(*Lo: u know we had our bad share of snakes in Carbondale. I'm so happy we got through that cause it was definitely rough but we held each other down.*)

I wish Jamell was there but due to the time of night he just said fuck it LOL

(*Jamell..my nigga since I first moved to South Holland..I'm also happy to see that you've gotten over the girl who did u wrong too. But out of that bullshit you've acquired a lil man, your light-skinned twin. Hell u even found a girl u really like which is always a good great ect. ect. thing. I wish u came out to kick more to indulge in great comedy but hey, me telling you about it is just as good. DIAAB (inside joke)!!*)

Its always great seeing Goon G even though we don't talk as much anymore..I still love him.

(*Goon.. everything u said u was gonna do, u did it. Plain and Simple*)

Jay-D: ur the funniest/most intelligent man I know. No matter how long it's been, I can always see Jay-D and he'll treat me like I seen him the day before. I love him for that. Oh and thx for the beat on my birthday, it was the only gift I got and I loved it that much more (matter fact I'm listening to it now).

Felix..where do I begin. My Crewman that stutters but will scrape a nigga in a min. It's always a pleasure to see you my nig.

Yahree AKA Yahroe..it still kinda bothers me how u and Lester just jumped up and left but ppl gotta make moves right? I jus wish I had more time to kick it with yall. Just make sure u never forget about us while u down there. And cheer up nigga! U always sound so sad on the phone! LOL!

Lester..goddamn Triple L..U r thee most reliable guy I know. Even though u moved to the A, I know that if anything ever happened to any one of us you'll find a private jet to Chicago, land on top of the damn hospital, make sure we cool, and fly back in time to get to work. U r truly irreplaceable my friend.

Walt..u r the one who always invites me to a Bulls game even though I don't have a ride there, but u always call to make sure. I like that in ya. You've also blessed me with an official God Son. Ur a cool person to talk to about female issues (you know who I mean).

Reggie..we never really talk like that but u treat me no different than anybody else I named above. It's not really official but fuck it u Crew to me!

Update 6-2-09: My Nigga Carl Seals..My bad I forgot to put u down a while ago but u already know u will never be forgotten. We spent plenty of times high as all hell talking about real shit going on in the world (Why does it seem like some ppl that smoke have a more firm grip on life than ppl who stay sober?) I'll never forget the most recent time we had. Locking car keys up and all lol. It was raining hard as hell and we tryna be on some GTA shit. Hella funny. I'll never forget your screams of joy when we popped that trunk and yo ass climbed through the back seat. *that shit echoes my mind when I see your pics g* I love you to death boi.

Last but not least..Rob Tizzle: I knew we had clicked since the day u looked at my Myspace page and saw Little Brother's- Lovin' It as my profile song when we were at my studio in Carbondale. I respected your opinion about things ever since. We even got the same form of humor (Party Boy Theme Song)!

To those I grew up with on the old block: I love ALL YALL whether we talk or not as much anymore.

To those who I rarely talk to in CREW: AAAA CREW!!!! Yall will forever be in the corridors of my mind.

To the ONE who I don't fuck wit at all that WAS in CREW: Enough said..I picture my self driving in a car and in the backseat u was..Literally WAS! As in past tense. Fuck outta here!

Live everyday like its your birthday!

YES!!

I made it through another year! I met some great new ppl, other will eventually fall off the radar. I don't really have any big plans, just to sit and think about what happened this past year, analyze it, and kick it with the guys for the most part. Seeing as though I'm hitting the South in June, I'm tryna kick it with those who are important to me (CREW-SET!). And to those who I didn't get a chance to kick it wit..u know I love yall. The creator has bestowed a lot of wisdom upon thee. In areas such as friendships, relationships, and most importantly myself. I realized (statistically speaking) that I've lived 1/3 of my life..maybe more. With that said, I gotta learn a whole lot more real quick cause life asks too many questions and I need an answers. But through the Journey all I need is the love of my real friends and my family. A few females wanna take me out but I don't wanna sell dreams to anybody so instead I'll be a certified CREWMAN. I know Imma need me some liquor and some weedies! I wouldn't mind a lil head though lol..let me stop. Another entry coming later on after the fun is over... peace humans.
